Fleurs De Villes returned to Toronto’s Bloor-Yorkville area bigger, bolder and more beautiful than ever with it’s Rosé flower trail.
In celebration Holts Café offered a Rosé inspired afternoon tea, featuring scones, tea sandwiches and of course sweet treats.
The treats were delicious, and some of the best afternoon tea sweets we’ve had. Highlights included the Éclair (Chocolate Ganache / Violet / Raspberry) and the macarons (Raspberry / Ruby Chocolate Dipped Strawberry) although honestly, I’d eat everything again without hesitation.
We also enjoyed both the Sloane Signature black tea, and the Sloane Classic Green tea, as well as the refreshing, alcohol-free cocktail the “Pink Popsicle” (Cranberry Juice / Fresh Lime Juice / Sparkling Lemon / Agave / Popsicle) and of course a glass of Rosé (Domaine de l’Amandine, Cuvée Marie, Rhône Valley, France).
Holts Cafe is offering seasonal and specialty themed menus and afternoon teas throughout the year, so I suggest keeping an eye on: https://www.holtrenfrew.com/en/services/restaurants/holts-cafe/bloor-street
We also wanted to give a big thank-you to the staff who were excellent. This was our first indoor dining experience since the Covid-19 pandemic started, and they all made us feel safe and welcomed.
