We hit up the Canadian National Exhibition on Friday, September 1st. Highlights included:

The new CNE sign! A new selfie-destination, the 8-foot tall CNE Sign features a Canadian maple leaf and is illuminated at night!

Food highlights included Farm To Fryer’s cheese-stuffed Doritos, Eative’s “Dragon’s Breath”-crispy ice cream dipped in liquid nitrogen and Chimney Stax’s “Cookie Monster” cone.

For 3 days only, CNE invited visitors to experience the “magic of the mustang” – one of the most popular cars of all time – with a retro rally of 25 to 35 vintage Mustangs on display along Princes’ Boulevard, mere steps away from the Automotive Building (now the Beanfield Centre) which hosted countless car shows beginning in 1929.
