The Drake hosted a block party celebrating the intersection of high art and street culture, led by UK-based Australian artist Shaun Gladwell (former pro skater) with a live performance of his critically acclaimed film Skateboarders VS Minimalism (Canadian premiere).
Local and international skateboarders creatively misused replicas of sculptures by Donald Judd and Carl Andre.
The event included a performance by Le Patin Libre on rollerblades, DJ performances, food trucks, pop-ups from MOCA, Evolve Skate Camps and Drake General Store.
