Ski season is well underway around the world, and the beloved alpine tradition of après ski has made its return to ski resorts, chalets, and d|bar by Chef Daniel Boulud located inside of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto. Taking solace in Yorkville’s street-level bar and lounge, guests visiting the après-inspired pop-up will be transported to European chalets as the city’s favourite hangout spot has been converted into an idyllic ski cabin. Designed to feel as if guests are tucked away above a snowy forest, d|bar has been lined with rustic wooden logs, cozy fur throws and an electric fireplace.

We decided to get cozy, and celebrate with one of their weekly fondue nights, where we enjoyed mouth-watering cheese fondue with bread, shishito peppers, mushrooms and charcuterie.

We also tried their spirit free cocktail, the Peach Cobbler (mint, peach, lime, clove) and the PSL from their Après Ski featurd cocktail menu (calvados, espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon).
For dessert we had the Mandarin Panna Cotta (vanilla panna cotta, spiced mandarin coulis, housemade shortbread).

Fondue night had been on our list since last year, so we were very happy we finally got to enjoy it. We had an amazing dining experience, the food was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and we can’t wait to go back.
