Toronto’s OMNI King Edward Hotel celebrated the 2021 Toronto Chocolate Festival by offering a decadent afternoon tea, complemented with chocolates and chocolate pastries every weekend during the festival.
Afternoon Tea has been a King Edward tradition since opening in 1903, and a portion of the proceeds support Gilda’s Club Greater Toronto.
Our afternoon tea service included sweets, savories and scones. Highlights included the Chocolate Espresso Tiramisu Verrine, Tomato Confit with Goat Cheese & Basil, and the Chocolate Cranberry Scone served with Devon Cream, Strawberry Preserves & Chocolate Praline Ganache.
We also enjoyed the Peaches and Cream tea, and the Chocolate Truffle tea from Canada’s own Sloane Tea Fine Merchants.
