Merritt Patterson (“The Royals”) and Jon Ecker (“Queen of the South”) star in “Gingerbread Miracle” a new, original movie premiering Friday, November 5 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s annual “Countdown to Christmas” programming event – your home for the holiday.

About The Movie:

Maya (Patterson) is a freelance attorney who, after a minor setback, has been living in the apartment above her parents’ garage and using the Casillas Panadería as her unofficial office for the past couple of years. The Mexican bakery has held a warm spot in her heart ever since she worked there as a teenager alongside her high school crush, Alejandro “Alex” Casillas (Ecker), the handsome nephew of the owner. When Alex’s uncle asks for Maya’s help in selling the bakery, Alex decides to return home to celebrate one last Christmas in the bakery and help Maya find a buyer for the bakery, whether or not she actually wants his help.

“Gingerbread Miracle” is from Lighthouse Pitcures Inc. Anne Carlucci, Kevin Leeson, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson are executive producers. Michael Scott directed from a script by Emma Claire Martin, John Benjamin Martin and Tracy Andreen.
