Toronto’s Alexander Muir Memorial Gardens are named after composer Alexander Muir, who wrote the patriotic song ‘The Maple Leaf Forever’ in 1867.

Featuring multi-level tiers, the gardens are filled with flowers and greenery during the warmer months, becoming a popular spot for engagement and wedding photos.

Often overlooked, it is the perfect quiet place for a relaxing walk or to sit and enjoy nature. The park also acts as a gateway into the ravine system that features walking trails which are open year-round.
