Toronto’s Fairmont Royal York Hotel is getting in the holiday spirit with their Fairmont Royal York Festive campaign which includes special holiday menus and drinks, luxurious stay packages, New Year’s Eve parties and more!
Highlights from our evening at the hotel included their giant gingerbread house created by Executive Chef jW Foster and his team. Inspired by a New York Brownstone, their 2-story gingerbread creation stands more than 24 feet high and 6 feet deep. It holds 4,500 bricks, and 500 pounds of icing!
We also checked out the Thirsty Elf Pop-Up Bar full of kitschy decor, and where tacky Christmas sweaters were encouraged! Toronto’s smallest bar has temporarily re-opened its doors for a limited-time festive cocktail menu from the creative mixologist mind of Rus Yessenov. For more on the Thirsty Elf click HERE.
On our way out, we passed by their new Christmas Tree and checked out their animated window display, in support of Children’s Wish Foundation.
