Candace Cameron Bure (“Fuller House,” “The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries”) and Tim Rozon (“Instant Star,” “Schitt’s Creek”) star in “Christmas Town” a new, original movie premiering Sunday, December 1, (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s beloved, #1-rated programming event “Countdown to Christmas” celebrating its 10th anniversary.

About The Movie:

Elementary school teacher Lauren Gabriel (Bure) decides to leave comfort and familiarity – and her career-only minded boyfriend (Jason Cermak, “A Midnight Kiss”) – for a more familyfriendly/white-picket fence lifestyle far away from Boston. En route, her train is unexpectedly delayed in the small, quaint town of Grandon Falls, nicknamed “Christmastown” and a place her late father frequented.

When Lauren meets the handsome handy-man Travis (Rozon), his young, sweet foster son Dylan (Jesse Filkow, “A Christmas to Remember”) and searches for a long-lost beloved family heirloom she suspects is hidden in one of the many antique shops, she extends her stay. During the festive and family-focused days leading up to Christmas, not only is she presented with an unexpected opportunity, but contemplates a life-changing decision and realizes that Christmas – and Grandon Falls – has a way of making miracles happen.

“Christmas Town” is a Lighthouse Pictures productions. Shawn Williamson, Jamie Goehring, Jonathan Shore, Candace Cameron Bure, Craig Anderson and Beth Grossbard are Executive Producers. Wayne Bennett is the producer. David Weaver directs a script based the book by Donna VanLiere, adapted by Wesley Bishop and Donald Martin.
