The City Hall Podium Green Roof officially opened in 2010 and approximately 3,250 square metres (35,000 square feet) of concrete was transformed into living vegetation.
The green roof features interlocking and gravel pathways complete with concrete and wooden benches to reduce the building’s environmental impact.
Residents and visitors can enjoy grasses, sedums and perennials in a kaleidoscope of colours.
