About The Movie:

Angel Gabriel (Rachel Boston) – Gabby – gets a special assignment and is dispatched to the town of Angel Falls. The town has lost its Christmas spirit and Gabby is charged with the task of helping the residents recapture it. Along the way, she befriends Jack Avery (Paul Greene), the Volunteer Fire Chief, who’s initially skeptical about her plan to revive the local Yuletide cheer. Determined, Gabby takes a job at the local church as the volunteer coordinator and sets about her business of recruiting residents to get the town’s holiday back on track. In the process of bringing back beloved Angel Falls Christmas traditions, Gabby has a surprising revelation about herself and her own dreams that set her down an unexpected path. Starring Rachel Boston, Paul Greene and Beau Bridges.

We had the chance to catch up with star Rachel Boston about her role, her favorite holiday movie, and family holiday traditions.

Kat: Was there anything about your role that was particularly challenging?
RB: I play an angel who falls in love for the first time so that was really fun to explore. She doesn’t fully understand what she is feeling. I relate to that in a lot of ways. There’s an innocence to her that makes her different than a human at her age with her experience. It was really pure and innocent. Falling in love makes us all so vulnerable and to go on that journey with her was amazing.

Kat: What was your favorite scene to shoot and why? (without giving away spoilers)
RB: Working with Beau Bridges was fantastic. He’s such a present, focused actor and so kind. I always felt at peace working with him. And all scenes with snow were magical. We shot it in the middle of a heat wave so watching the team create a winter wonderland was just incredible.

Kat: Do you have a favorite Christmas movie?
RB: “It’s a Wonderful Life.” I watch it every year.

Kat: Do you or your family have any special holiday traditions?
RB: We have a new tradition of going to Hawaii. My brother got his Ph.D. there and we all fell in love with it. We always go to a church service. I love candlelight services on Christmas Eve and now instead of snow we dive in the ocean.

Kat: What’s the best Christmas present you’ve ever received?
RB: One year Santa brought a Snuggles bear, and it went everywhere with me. Oh, how I loved that little bear. Now that my family lives all over and one of my brothers is in Japan, being together is the greatest blessing.

Don’t miss the premiere of “Christmas In Angel Falls” Saturday, December 2nd at 9/8c!
