Fresh off a summer of more than 45 tour dates, one of Quebec’s hottest rising country acts, the award-winning Blue Ridge Band, announced they’ve signed with The Feldman Agency for all Canadian bookings as they recently released their sophomore album High On You on September 26 via Symphonic. The trio — Jeremy Plante, Samuel Jalbert-Raymond, and Martin Aubin — have quickly built a reputation for high-energy country music and incredible live shows.
High On You solidifies Blue Ridge Band’s place as one of the most exciting country acts to watch. Infusing pop and rock influences into their sound, the album brims with high-energy hooks, soaring harmonies, and the kind of carefree, sun-soaked anthems that keep crowds singing along.
The 10-track collection features breakout singles “The Rush” and the title track “High On You”, alongside road-trip singalongs and party-starters built for the stage. Produced and mixed by the band’s own Martin Aubin, and mastered at Nashville’s The Foxboro, the album has a dynamic and polished sound. Every track was co-written by Jeremy Plante, Martin Aubin, and a team of talented collaborators including Brittany Kennell, Zachary Ouimet, Cinzia Abbate, and Trudy, bringing together a blend of voices and influences that gives the record its dynamic sound.
High On You captures the essence of what Blue Ridge Band does best: creating music that feels like a celebration — one that signals they’re not just raising the bar, but poised to make serious waves in the country market.
Now carrying momentum from their High On You Tour, the trio continues to prove they’re a band built for the stage. From packed festivals to late-night honky-tonks, their shows deliver good times, big singalongs, and undeniable energy.
Blue Ridge Band made their Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards week debut on September 13 at CCMA House in Kelowna, followed by an album launch in Montreal (September 24) and Lévis (September 25). They also recently joined Jessica Sevier for her Toronto show at The Cameron House on November 4.
Since their debut EP Down to Business (Parts I and II) in 2022–23, Blue Ridge Band has earned three Top 10 singles in Quebec with French versions of “Chasing Sunsets,” “The Rush,” and “High On You,” airplay across SiriusXM’s Top of the Country, and finalist recognition at the 2024 Boots and Hearts Emerging Artist Showcase. Their success has also been recognized with Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Quebec Radio Awards presented by ADISQ and English Album of the Year at the Quebec Country Gala. With standout festival performances including LASSO Montréal, the group continues to prove their ability to connect on stage and on record.

I had the opportunity to chat with Jeremy Plante (lead vocalist) about the band’s new album, their journey so far, and what’s next.
Kat: Can you talk about the inspiration behind your new album High On You?
Jeremy: This album is about enjoying the little things and taking the time to appreciate what we’ve achieved along the way. At first, I even had another title in mind, The Art of Taking a Break, because I feel like we spend too much energy chasing work and results. It’s only when you pause and look back that you see how far you’ve really come. The songs also shine a light on what truly matters to us, like family and music.
Kat: What do you hope fans take from the album?
Jeremy: I hope people listen to this album with a smile and that it brings them good energy. It may sound cheesy, but if it reminds them that money and success aren’t everything, then we’ve done our job.
Kat: What do you find is the most challenging part of your creative process?
Jeremy: The hardest part is knowing when to stop working on a song. There’s always another chord to try, a lyric to tweak, or a melody that could go in a different direction. Getting to that point where we all agree a song feels complete can be tough, because ideas are never the issue – it’s deciding when to let go.
Kat: What has been a career highlight for you so far? What have you learned along the way?
Jeremy: We’ve had so many amazing moments, but the Emerging Artist Showcase at Boots and Hearts definitely stands out as a milestone for Blue Ridge Band. It was one of the first times our career felt less like a kid’s dream and more like something real and within reach. We showed up on almost no sleep after playing a show the night before and driving 14 hours overnight just to get there. At first, the crowd didn’t know who we were — some even laughed a little since half the band isn’t fluent in English — but as soon as we hit the stage, we did what we do best. With just three songs, we earned their respect. More than anything, it was a win we got to share as a team, and that made it unforgettable.
Kat: What’s next for the Blue Ridge Band?
Jeremy: We’re heading back into the studio this month since we wrote a few new songs while on tour this past summer. Even though we just released our album, we’re already excited about what’s coming next. Our focus is on expanding across Canada and, hopefully, breaking into the U.S. in the years ahead. Fans can expect a new music video, live sessions, and more shows to be announced later this year. There’s always something in the works with us.
