We celebrated our photographer Tiffany Shum‘s birthday with Louix Louis‘ famous 13 layer chocolate King’s Cake. Having already had brunch, we soared 31 stories above the glittering Toronto skyline atop the St. Regis Hotel for her birthday treat.
The King’s Cake is a thirteen-layer chocolate cake, with 64% Guayaquil ganache, with hazelnut-and chocolate butter cream. It comes served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.


We also enjoyed the “Rated-G” (Non-Alcoholic Cocktail). A tropical, rich, lucious passion fruit inspired cocktail with vanilla, and club soda. Described as “a wild one that has reformed. Now living on the straight and narrow without surrendering any of the fun.”
We also enjoyed a glass of prosecco.



We’ve had the pleasure of dining at Louix Louis a few times now, and it is always an amazing dining experience. The food and cocktails were excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and we can’t wait to go back.
