Kat Harlton is the founder of The Harlton Empire and a marketing/media relations liaison with expertise in music promotion, social media and public relations.
She’s booked and/or co-promoted shows at some of Toronto’s best venues including: The Mod Club, Lee’s Palace, Revival, Tattoo Rock Parlour, The Bovine Sex Club, The Gladstone Hotel and The Supermarket.
Kat holds a diploma in Theatre Arts from Fanshawe College and was nominated for a ‘Best Actress‘ Brickenden Award in 2005. She also performed in Julia Loktev‘s 2010 Nuit Blanche project ‘I Cried For You’ and co-produced “Ex Gratia” a short film for The 2013 Toronto 48 Hour Film Project which made it into the top 10 and won ‘Best Philosophical Film’.
She is an active volunteer for numerous local causes and organizations including Toronto’s Wavelength Music Festival. She also proudly organizes an annual holiday benefit concert for Toronto’s Daily Bread Foodbank.
She’s passionate about supporting Toronto’s indie art & entertainment scene and can frequently be found in one of its numerous venues checking out a new musical act or art exhibition.
