Lacey Chabert (“Party of Five,” “Baby Daddy”), Kevin McGarry (“When Calls the Heart,” “Heartland”), Alison Sweeney (“Chronicle Mysteries,” ”Hannah Swenson Mysteries”), and Autumn Reeser (“Entourage,” “The O.C.”) star in “The Wedding Veil Expectations” a new, original movie premiering January 7, 2023 (8 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel, as part of the network’s “New Year New Movies” programming event.

About The Movie:

In the first movie of this sequel trilogy, Avery (Chabert) and her husband Peter (McGarry) are in the midst of renovating the old house they’ve purchased, which is proving to be a bigger undertaking than they anticipated. Avery has some exciting news to share with him but is waiting for just the right moment. Meanwhile, Avery’s mother-in-law Grace (Karen Kruper, “Color My World with Love”) reconnects with a former beau, and Peter has concerns. Between that, the pitfalls of remodeling and navigating the politics of having a new boss at the museum, Avery is lucky to have Emma (Reeser) and Tracy (Sweeney), who offer support from afar as well as in person, when they decide a video chat won’t suffice. When newlywed Tracy returns the antique wedding veil to Emma, the friends may find that they haven’t seen the last of its magic.

“The Wedding Veil Expectations” is from Veil Road Productions IV LTD and Front Street Pictures. Beth Grossbard, Lisa Demberg and Lacey Chabert are executive producers. Harvey Kahn and Juliet Smith are co-executive producers. Allen Lewis is supervising producer and Charles Cooper is producer. Peter Benson directed from a script by Judith Berg & Sandra Berg and Karen Berger, inspired by the book There Goes the Bride by Lori Wilde.
