Aimeé Teegarden (“My Christmas Family Tree,” “The Rookie”) and Evan Roderick (“Spinning Out,” “Arrow”) star in “Autumn in the City” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, October 15 (8:00 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel, as part of the network’s annual “Fall into Love” programming event.

About The Movie:

Piper Grant (Teegarden) moves to New York for a fresh start and to find her career passion. As she bounces between different exciting temp jobs that take her all over the city, she meets Austin Edwards (Roderick), an aspiring writer hoping to emerge from the shadow of his famous journalist mother (Colleen Wheeler, Tully). While Piper’s sunny optimism is at odds with Austin’s jaded personality, the magic of the autumn season soon brings them closer together. When Piper realizes her true passion is illustration, they decide to team up on a children’s book project, and in the process, discover what they’re really searching for just might be each other.

“Autumn in the City” is from Two 4 The Money Media Inc. Kim Arnott, Harry Winer, Michael Shepard and Fernando Szew are executive producers. Kate Gajdosik is producer. Michael Robison directed from a script by Joey Elkins & Blake Silver, based on the teleplay by Sheri Davenport.
