Tied together with deep, emotional storytelling of the personal highs and lows of young love, 30k truly introduces new sides of the young, incredibly talented songwriter.

We had the opportunity to chat with Noelle about her debut EP, what she hopes fans connect with on the album and what’s next.

Kat: Can you talk about the inspiration behind your debut EP?

Noelle: The main inspiration for my debut EP is the ups and downs of young love. I love songs that make me emotional so I really wanted to take people on an emotional journey with my EP. Musically, I wanted to try to include bits and pieces of all of my favorite genres, especially old jazz.

Kat: What do you hope fans connect with on the album?

Noelle: I hope they can feel all of the emotion behind the lyrics and melodies. I want the EP to take them on a journey. I hope my fans that can relate to the songs know that they are not alone because young love can be both heartbreaking and beautiful.

Kat: What do you find is the most challenging part of your creative process?

Noelle: I absolutely love the whole creative process, from writing the songs to coming up with music video concepts. It’s dealing with the business side of the music industry in general that’s the challenge for me so far.

Kat: What has been a career highlight for you so far? What have you learned along the way?

Noelle: The highlight for me so far is all of the amazing songwriters and producers that I have had the absolute privilege of working with. They have all been such a special part of my journey, and have helped me grow so much as an artist and songwriter.

Kat: What’s next?

Noelle: I have so many songs that I love and want to share with everyone, so I’ll be releasing lots of music this year. I also really hope I am able to start doing live shows and meet some of my fans. I think that’s an extremely special part of this career and I haven’t been able to experience it yet due to COVID.
