6 Toronto Restaurants On Our Spring Wish List

Kat Harlton

Whether you’re looking for a break from the gloominess of winter, or just want to celebrate the beginning of spring, we’ve found 6 Toronto restaurants that will instantly brighten your day (and mood!). Filled with hints of green decor, plants, pastels and large sun drenched windows, you’ll want to add these places to your spring wish list.

Baro describes themselves as where “traditional Latin Culture and cuisine is reimagined with distinct modern flair and becomes something entirely it’s own”, and although they’re home to stunning cocktails and delicious food, it’s their enclosed patio filled with natural light and plants that’s rejuvenating our soul.

Offering brunch, lunch, dinner, cocktails and anything else your heart might desire, Wish in Yorkville is the perfect place for relaxed Sundays, or a more reserved night out. Our favorite part? Their light filled, pastel drenched patio.

Lov offers a vegan menu and describes themselves as “Fast-fine restaurants offering a versatile ‘gourmand’ menu thanks to a collaborative know-how. LOV is an experience to be enjoyed in our radiant and benevolent atmosphere”. Their signature cocktails and apple pancakes are always calling our name, but it’s their light, fresh decor with pops of green that are giving us spring vibes and have us feeling inspired.

Kitten And The Bear

Kitten And The Bear is the stuff of fairy-tales. This charming shop hand craft French confiture style fruit preserves and traditional buttermilk scones using only the finest ingredients and time-honoured methodology. They have a full collection of handcrafted jams & marmalades, alongside freshly baked buttermilk scones, assorted pastries, tea & coffee, as well as curated specialty grocery, artisan cheese, loose leaf tea, pantry goods and homewares. They offer afternoon teas and often have various events throughout the year, but it’s their dreamy pastel decor and patterned wallpaper that has us daydreaming of warmer days.
