Preview: “Rome In Love” A Hallmark Channel ‘Summer Nights’ Original Movie

The timeless beauty of Rome is on full display when unexpected romance finds an unknown American actress shooting a film in the Eternal City, in “Rome in Love” premiering Saturday July 27 (9 p.m. ET/PT), on Hallmark Channel as part of the network’s “Summer Nights” programming event.

About The Movie:

Italia Ricci (“Designated Survivor,” “Chasing Life”) and Peter Porte (“The Young and the Restless”) star. Amelia Tate’s (Ricci) world is turned upside down when she is plucked from obscurity in Bend, Oregon to star in a remake of the classic film Roman Holiday. After being flown to the Eternal City for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, Amelia is obliged to spend time with American reporter Philip Hamilton (Porte), who has been assigned by an Italian magazine to write the story that will introduce her to the world.

“Rome in Love” is produced by Vesuvius Productions, and was shot on location in and around Rome. Executive producer is Angela Mancuso. Eric Bross directed from a script written by Topher Payne.
