Rachael Leigh Cook (“Perception”) and Brendan Penny (“Chesapeake Shores”) star in Hallmark Channel’s “Valentine in the Vineyard” a new, original movie premiering Saturday, February 2 (8 p.m. ET/PT) as part of the network’s annual “Countdown to Valentine’s Day” programming event.

About The Movie:

Playing winemakers who have partnered in love and business, Cook and Penny reprise the roles they originated in the Hallmark Channel original movies “Autumn in the Vineyard” and “Summer in the Vineyard.”

With Sorrento Farms’ first wines in high demand, co-owners Frankie Baldwin (Cook) and Nate DeLuca (Penny) seem to be on their way to a successful future – and with Nate’s marriage proposal, they will be on their way to the altar, as well. But they decide to keep the news a secret when Frankie’s cousin Lexi (Tegan Moss, “The Good Doctor”) and Nate’s brother Marco (Marcus Rosner, “UnREAL”) unexpectedly announce their plans to wed on Valentine’s Day, a mere four weeks away. Instead, Frankie and Nate find themselves making a test-run for their own nuptials after they offer to host Lexi and Marco’s wedding at Sorrento Farms. As they juggle wedding planning with a high-stakes winery expansion, Frankie and Nate begin to wonder if their opposites-attract viewpoints make them a less-than-perfect pairing.

“Valentine in the Vineyard” is a Muse Entertainment production in association with Head First Productions. Executive producers are Jim Head, Joel S. Rice, Michael Prupas, Rachael Leigh Cook and Shawn Williamson. Jamie Goehring and Trevor McWhinney are the producers. Terry Ingram directs from a script written by Rick Garmen based on the book “Need You for Keeps” by Marina Adair.
