Emilie Ullerup (True Memoirs of an International Assassin, “Chesapeake Shores”) and Josh Kelly (“UnREAL”) star in “Christmas Bells Are Ringing” a new original premiering Saturday, December 22 (10 p.m. ET/PT) on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries as part of the network’s annual Miracles of Christmas programming event.

About The Movie:
Freelance photographer Sam Rogers (Ullerup) is ready for some security in her life and is hopeful that her portfolio of Christmas-themed cityscapes will secure her a coveted staff position at a Boston newspaper. Sam herself will be spending Christmas at her family’s summer home in Cape Cod, where her widowed father is to be married on Christmas Eve. Sam grew up summering on the Cape with her parents but hasn’t been back since her mother’s death 13 years ago. Upon learning that the newspaper’s editor wants a new suite of Christmas photos, Sam realizes she needs a crash course in Cape Cod Yuletide color, fast. And there’s no better person to serve as guide than Mike Phillips (Kelly), the childhood best friend she hasn’t seen since she was 16. Mike, who is pondering his own big career move, is more than happy to give Sam an insider’s tour of Cape Cod at Christmas. As the calendar counts down to Christmas, Sam and Mike become increasingly aware of the romantic feelings that first surfaced in their teens. But with careers nudging them in opposite directions, their stars seem to be crossed once more.

“Christmas Bells are Ringing” is a Crown Media Productions, LLC production. Harvey Kahn and Charles Cooper are the producers. Pat Williams directs from a script by Nicole Baxter.
