‘Getting Ready For A Lunch Date’ is a a 6 min, intense short film written and directed by Patrick Hodgson. Intended to be the first 6 mins of a proposed feature film, this funny, terrifying piece of work leaves you with an incessant desire to find out who these characters are and what their back-story is.
Without giving too much away, Jessica Pontes gives a stellar, fascinating performance , which is complimented perfectly by the light/dark themes showcased in both the cinematography and musical score. If you like questioning your sanity, then this is a must watch for sure.
